‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara‘, the movie starring Hrithik Roshan , Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin depicts a story of three friends turning their dreams into reality.
A few lessons learnt from the movie:
- Never ever show your girlfriend the gift you got for your Mom or sister.
- Never flirt with your best friend’s girlfriend; he’ll not forgive you till he gets his next.
- Your friend may still accept if you flirt with his girlfriend but never ever mess with his cell phone
- And last but not the least – Holidays are a must – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara !
Reading all the above, so called ‘lessons’ I just described, you would definitely think I have gone nuts. But did we learn the real lessons the movie gave us – No. Why? I’m sure most of the answers would be one of these: “Who cares? It was just a movie!” , “I have a lot of work to complete, no time for vacations.” or “Life isn’t a dream – realize it. Life is a sacrifice – offer it. “
We are living in an era of ballooning debts, unthinkable tax increases and paralyzed politics. Life has become so fast, people are occupied too much with their work that they don’t even realize what a beautiful part of life they are missing. People are obsessed with packing themselves into too many obligations and ambitions. Life has become an ever-lasting race of success and money.
I’m sure most of you will be thinking, what can be done? I’m not asking you to stop striving for success or money, but it should be not overpower your life. At the end of the day, everybody lives for a decent three-course meal. All the other things are all perfunctory.
The sooner we realize that life is not in chasing only after success, but making the most of today, the happier our lives can be. After all, money can’t buy you all the happiness. Understand and value relationships. Never forget to express what you feel.
Life is unpredictable, live your life. Coz Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – You won’t get to live this life again!- Parting thought..
